Innovation: a brand-new development from CRE Rösler Electronic is a master control system for IPC display brightness. This system enables display brightness and key backlighting (depending on daylight temperature) to be controlled ergonomically and according to demand, as well as centrally, over the network:
– Control by presence
– Control by brightness
– Control by daylight
Facts and figures: the highly impressive performance data speaks for itself – the IPC plus power adapter consumes just 30 W at 100% display brightness, 25 W at 80% display brightness and in sleep mode has a power consumption rating of less than 17 W. With an order of 330 units of the new, energy-efficient panel PCs, the customer – in this case Porsche – saves around EUR 30,000 per year in electricity costs.
Energy optimisation: Thanks to CRE Rösler’s innovation, power consumption can be optimally adjusted to the power requirements of the panel PCs by programming over the LAN connection. Depending on the application scenario for the various production units, the displays can be controlled or put into sleep mode from a primary computer or adjustments can be made directly on each panel PC. This drastically reduces energy consumption: an efficiently-designed lighting system for display backlighting saves electricity costs, is environmentally friendly and also improves image quality.
