CRE Rösler Electronic announces the signing of another major order from carmaker Porsche.
A done deal: Following the 2008 order from the Porsche factory in Leipzig for 300 units from CRE Rösler’s red dot award-winning S Line range, the hardware company from northern Germany has now landed another multi-million order from the luxury carmaker. The assembly-line quality assurance unit for the new sport SUV “Macan”, scheduled to roll off the Leipzig plant’s production line in 2013, has just placed an order for 330 panel PCs. Hohenlockstedt-based CRE Rösler Electronic will be delivering the first QA terminals in December 2012. CRE Rösler’s high standards of production were decisive in winning this order: the requirements for the extensive equipment order for new IPCs are linked closely to the equipment already delivered in 2008 and require compatibility with existing software used by Porsche’s Leipzig plant.CRE Rösler designed an entirely new panel PC, which is tailored precisely to the needs of its client.
